Mysore Mallige Suicide

How I became a dissident doctor

Dr. Claus Köhnlein January 22, 2006 .

As a result of the chemical AIDS hypothesis "AIDS doctor" may find themselves in a difficult situation. What I mean is that is always with one foot in jail, you know it has to follow the guidelines for therapy, and if you do not meet these guidelines and something happens (illness appears), it is easier to deal with legal actions.

And it's hard to just say, "Forget about your HIV diagnosis, and treatment for the disease you have been diagnosed," as such do not know, if cerebral toxoplasmosis is more efficient treat her with a protease inhibitor with same goes antibióticos.Lo with widespread fungal infection and other AIDS-defining conditions, because no controlled studies on this in the reports.

So I will begin by explaining how I started to get into this awkward position, and got his medical degree from the AIDS dissident.

saw my first AIDS patient in 1990 when I was part of the oncology unit at the University of Kiel. The patient was a strong man, aged 35 diaganosticado lymphoma after undergoing a test (EBV) that was postive for Hodgkin's Burkitt.En that time our hospital made the HIV antibody tests. The test was positive, in that moment the diagnosis of EBV lymphoma in this patient changed and the stimulation of lymphoma associated with HIV from the moment the patient became an AIDS patient.

I knew I needed another treatment because AZT was tested in a controlled trial, and demonstrated its eficacia.De fact, was so effective that the lymphoma disappeared, along with the patient, two years later. He died of Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia (PCP) within the clinical setting suppression de médula ósea.

Ella worsened and he was treated with cortisone at the suggestion of some autoimmune diseases. He recovered several weeks later but returned to get sick again, so was another again admitted to our hospital, because my boss at that time was a specialist in lupus eritematoso.La was almost dying woman had lost weight, had chills and could easily be connected to a patient with AIDS.
started with a lot of diagnostic procedures and found nothing, not even for HIV. But after a while we came to a conclusion, we sent a little patient's bone marrow to be examined, the results found Histoplasma capsulatum in bone marrow.

We were excited - a treatable disease. We gave the patient intravenous antifungal and recovered completely. For several months

discussed the case and come again to repeat the previous discussions, I said, - She is an AIDS patient, but from the other side of me is contestaron.No. She is HIV negative and therefore can not have AIDS because AIDS is caused by HIV.

Then I had a revelation epiphany, I realized that AIDS is a mere tautology definition.

One result of antibodies to HIV-positive are more than 27 old diseases (histoplasmosis, tuberculosis, lymphoma, cervical cancer, etc. ..) into a single, new disease called AIDS.

However, the same disease without HIV simply is an ancient disease.

Claus Köhnlein The German physician-author of the book Virusmanía : how the medical industry invents billionaires epidemics continue to profit at our expense, rigorously analyzed the first proposed therapy HIV / AIDS:

"AZT was approved in 1987 and managed, as we now know, in doses too high so that virtually everyone who received the drug died prematurely of myelosuppression." Köhnlein explain after treatments are being prescribed without taking into account the clinical symptoms of patients. "Moreover," ensure ", is being pressed to completely healthy HIV-positive patients for prophylactic and recommending chemotherapy for life. These therapeutic criteria have not been verified by long-term controlled studies with placebo. "

After being convicted for HIV transmission, this man will be sentenced by the Court as a highly dangerous criminal "A man

Johnson Aziga, Photograph by: Handout, CNS

On Tuesday, Hamilton began in a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario, Johnson's trial Aziga.Será the first case in Canada where a person is convicted of two counts of first degree murder after having intercourse sex without warning his HIV positive status.

hearing is expected to have a duration of three weeks after hearing from numerous witnesses and evaluate the options presented by the defense to reduce a sentence of 54 years.

In June 2008, Johnson Aziga was charged with first degree murder and aggravated sexual assault for having unprotected sex without revealing with 13 women living with HIV.

During the trial, the jury heard that two women, identified only as HC and SB, were infected with HIV lethally Aziga, who never said anything about his health and after developing AIDS-related cancers died. Five other couples Aziga sex tested positive for HIV, while four other women were negative.

Prosecutors told jurors that Aziga "outright lied" about his HIV status, in some cases to convince its partners not to use condoms. He was convicted by a jury in 2009.

Developments in the case of Johnson Aziga

Johnson Aziga former employee in the Ministry of Ontario has been in prison since August 2003, was placed in custody in a provincial facility for maximum security detention until the trial was held.

Case of cruel and unusual
During his stasis

Aziga was isolated from the rest of the population penitenciaria.Alegó who had been stigmatized by the other prisoners and prison staff as a result of their HIV status and the charges against him, and did not receive adequate medical care.

Lofchik Judge concluded that the riots in which he had been involved Aziga were a result of interpersonal conflict and not the stigma as a result of its status VIH.Dijo that Aziga received reasonable medical care and medical isolation was a necessary precaution to protect the rest of the prison population.

Process to exclude potential jurors

In a separate action in August 2008, Aziga asked the Court to be allowed to exclude potential jurors because of racial prejudice in relation to HIV and as a result of publications in the media.

To find out, Aziga asked four questions were made to the jury in relation to:

-related harm is the fact that a black man Aziga Canadian living with HIV who was born in Uganda, while the potential victim were white.

-potential damage from the recent coverage in the media HIV and the transmission penalty.

, the perception of the risks of HIV transmission.

-the "fears, assumptions and prejudices" about HIV that could affect decisions and ability to evaluate evidence.

Given the precedents set in previous cases, the Court ruled that a "presumption of impartiality," also found that the reports in the media as a result of Aziga case could prevent jurors are impartial, but felt it was "too speculative" to suggest that the emotions that surround HIV / AIDS could cause unexpected behavior and unfair rulings by judges, so the Court did not allow a disposal action on that basis.

Also in August 2008, one of the women involved in the case of Aziga launched a civil suit for six million dollars against Aziga, Hamilton Police and the Hamilton Health Department for failing to warn about the positive status Aziga of HIV. The lawsuit alleges that local police and the Health Department knew the HIV status of Aziga but used as "bait" to involve Aziga.

On Monday his lawyer Davies Bagambiire, said "This has been a long and difficult case is unprecedented."

Bagambiire, argued that his client, a native of Uganda continues to suffer in prison the stigma associated with the disease.

"In jail, people, obviously, has been stigmatized as someone with HIV. They think they are having with caution Aziga is because they will not be infected by él.Eso is typical of prison life has never changed. "

"It has nothing to do with it, has to do with the nature of this society," said Bagambiire. "

is clear that a dangerous offender designation allows the court to impose an indeterminate sentence: a dangerous criminal can remain in custody until deemed no longer a public menace. A conviction for first degree murder carries a sentence of life imprisonment without possibility of parole for 25 years.

Some legal experts have harshly criticized the case as it sets a dangerous precedent criminalizing HIV patients.

COMMENT

Now Johnson Aziga Canada wants to be declared dangerous offender, which means that after spending his first 25 years in jail be 71, but has not been released from prison since his arrest.
Are not enough
25 years without parole?

Although judging by the photo, Aziga are taking protease inhibitors against HIV / AIDS, a lethal injection slow, although in Canada supustamete the death penalty was eliminated in 1962.

Tony Perkins, nobody has "HIV"

OMSJ puts the "HIV" on the ropes in the case of Indiana.

Second televised report in two weeks, after the criminal case against a defendant for transmission of HIV has been questioned.

been over fifteen months since Tony Perkins was arrested by local police on charges of deliberately infecting about 100 women with AIDS.

"All we wanted was a normal relationship," said Perkins. "If you (journalists) teach people the truth about this disease, then perhaps not have had to lie and have told them what I had. "

When asked about the number of victims, Perkins said," are not victims. No one has HIV. All I did was not say 'I wanted to have a relationship. "

But after The Innocence Project (OMSJ) reviewed the evidence submitted by the prosecution, found no evidence to justify that Perkins had been correctly diagnosed as HIV positive by a competent physician.
OMSJ When questioned last month experts as witnesses for the plaintiff, the senior official of the Indiana Department of Health was forced to admit that they were experts in HIV or HIV testing.

One third of deaths in HIV patients due to other severe illness present at the time of HIV diagnosis.

The high mortality rate in HIV positive patients is due to serious illness present before the diagnosis, Danish researchers report in the online edition of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes.

The study showed that one third of the deaths were from diseases that were already present before the diagnosis of VIH.También the report that the mortality rate was significantly higher in HIV patients subject to medication between the Danish population general.

Introduction of antiretroviral therapy in late 1990 led to opportunistic diseases virtually disappear transforming the prognosis of HIV / SIDA.Ahora paradoxically are diseases that are not related to AIDS one of the leading causes of illness and death in HIV patients expected that the number of diseases continue to increase as HIV-positive population ages.
However, the disease severity have acquired prior to diagnosis and its impact on the prognosis of patients with HIV is hardly known.

The Danish researchers conducted a study population of the country for adult patients diagnosed HIV + between 1997 and 2005.
These people remained in the study at least two years and each was paired in line with HIV-negative people of the same sex and age.

Records showed significant details of comorbidity, the researchers then calculated each patient and scored on their controls with the Charlson comorbidity index, designed to predict mortality. Includes serious diseases associated value from 1 to 3 (0, 1, 2, 3 and above) as its impact as a factor in mortality.

A total of 1638 patients were diagnosed with HIV during the study period, and 195 of these people during the years of monitoring.

This provided a mortality rate of 2.09% compared with a rate of only 0.39% among the Danish population in general.

In 22% of patients were present other serious illnesses at the time of HIV diagnosis. This includes 13% of patients who were co-infected with hepatitis C.

preexisting comorbidity significantly increased the risk of death in HIV-positive pacientes.Las who had one or more points on the Charlson Comorbidity Index was significantly higher mortality rates than patients infected with HIV without points in the index (mortality rate = 1.84, 95% CI, 1.32 to 2.57).

The researchers then compared death rates among HIV-positive and HIV-negative controls according to their score of Charlson comorbidity index. In each stratum, HIV-positive individuals had significantly higher mortality.

0 Score: HIV = 1.70 versus 0.27 per 100 person-years.

Score 1: HIV = 4.37 versus 1.36 per 100 person-years.

Score 2: HIV = 8.06 compared to 2.44 per 100 person-years.

score of 3 or more: HIV = 10.15 compared to 5.84 per 100 person-years.

This disproportionate mortality in HIV patients explained by an interaction between HIV and comorbid conditions. Compared with patients without points in the Charlson comorbidity index, the interaction can be attributed to a point 59% mortality of patients with two points to 66% of patients, and 34% of deaths for patients with three or more points.

Overall, researchers estimate that 32% of deaths in HIV patients due to serious illnesses that were present before HIV is diagnosed. On the other hand, 45% of total mortality in HIV patients was due to causes unrelated to HIV.

"We found that influencing morbidity before diagnosis HIV was an independent risk factor for death, "say the authors.

" Almost half the death rate in people diagnosed with HIV with free access in the health centers to HAART [highly active antiretroviral therapy active] is caused by factors unrelated to HIV disease or associated factors, such as toxicity of antiretroviral drugs. On the other hand, comorbidity acquired before HIV diagnosis acts additively with HIV as a risk factor for death. "

add," the considerable burden conferred by acquired diseases before diagnosis of HIV, is more than one in five Patients in this study requires a comprehensive approach to the treatment and cuidado.La participation of a team of specialists is shown clearly needed. "

The researchers suggest that lifestyle and self-care issues may contribute to the high prevalence of preexisting major diseases present in patients at the time of their HIV diagnosis.

" Other studies with biological target and Risk factors for socio-cultural comorbidity needed for improving our understanding of the complex interaction between HIV and HIV disease previously acquired.

Cute Snowboarding Hairstyles

Sterilize HIV-positive women in South Africa by $ 47.

Barbara Harris founded in 1997, a project of social engineering in the United States organization called Project Prevention.Esta sterilized by money or pay $ 300 drug addicts or alcoholics who accept the use of contraceptive methods.

In late 2010 his arrival in Britain claims caused rechazo.Distintas discussion and ensured that the British Medical Association strongly opposed, and today the organization "only" can offer to pay for long-term contraceptive methods.

Now the focus of Project Prevention is in South Africa.

Barbara Harris, says he has found a doctor who is already inserting intrauterine devices (IUDs) in women with HIV at a cost of $ 7 the responsibility accompanies acepatan women who receive a single cash payment of $ 40 - with what The procedure has a total cost of $ 47.

This pilgrimage to Kenya, there seems fortuita.Desde its inception, Barbara Harris has shown interest in people "unfit."

In a statement last December, issued a statement arguing that it was necessary "... working hard to birth control for women living with HIV / AIDS and to prevent future pregnancies may lead to suffering of innocent children. "

also stated that methods of birth control long term were the "only way to reduce birth rates."

When Harris began the organization popularized a phrase referring to drug abusers that keeps repeating. "sterilize our dogs, puppies have not tried yet, women are literally litters of children" .

South Africa can not escape the controversy since its inception organización.Diversas raised that medical interventions have spoken about expressing their opposition.

"We believe an alarming extent, do not want it here, women living with HIV can have perfectly healthy babies." , says Professor Mhlanga, chief of the Department of Maternal and Child Health Women.

"We can not accept a situation where organizations live to exploit poor and vulnerable, and it seems very unethical to be paid a certain amount of money for people to give up their reproductive rights. "

" Why is directed specifically to people who are users drugs or living with HIV? There are fewer people. "

Eddie Mhlanga, said that he had informed the Council of Health Professionals from South Africa about doctors who are cooperating with the organization in any medical intervention.

Professor Di Cooper, Head of the Health Research Women at UCT, said the project was against the sexual and reproductive rights of women guaranteed by the Constitution.

"Giving money can interpretarses as coercion or bribery, in fact it is," he said. Compare

contemptuously women "brood bitches" as did Harris emphasizing "to prevent the suffering of innocent children," does not bode well.

"This idea does not fit culturally in the human and reproductive rights in South Africa - especially given our history of abuse experienced during apartheid," said Cooper.

Dr. Eric Goemaere of Doctors Without Borders said that the analogy with the dogs was "very regrettable". "The key question, of course, is the free choice of women, especially that sterilization is not irreversible, "he said.

Illegal To Own Bulletproof

TRUVADA arrested a study after verifying its usefulness.

The researchers announced Monday the interrupución of a study of thousands of African women that examined the effectiveness of a drug to prevent AIDS virus infection AIDS, after partial results not offer any indication that the drug was working.

interim analysis study found that women taking Truvada (manufactured by Gilead Sciences), are as likely to contract HIV than those receiving placebo , even if the study continued, it would be possible to determine if the drugs help prevent infection, since the short-term benefits are still very far away, researchers say.

A disappointing result, I note Family Health International, a nonprofit organization involved in AIDS research, because just last autumn a similar study concluded that Truvada had helped to prevent infection in homosexual and bisexual men conjuntamenete when administered with other drugs to prevent and under medical advice. Many AIDS experts, opinion about it was a breakthrough that could help curb the epidemic.
The organization launched the study two years ago, were enrolled in about 3,900 women in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa. Through week Last 56 new infections occurred in half of each group.

There were no security problems with Truvada. However, women who took it were more likely to become pregnant than women taking placebo.

"It's a surprising discovery that has no easy explanation" so far known about the effects of Truvada in women using contraception, said Dr. Timothy Mastro of Family Health International.

approach still "very promising"

Truvada is a combination of two drugs, tenofovir and emtricitabine, or FTC, marketed by Gilead Sciences for some time based in California, for treatment HIV.

drug use remain "very promising," said Mastro, although the risks may vary according to gender and how the virus spreads Through risky sex such as anal sex between men or between heterosexual .

Last year, a study in South Africa found that a vaginal gel compound with large doses of tenofovir had shown impressive anti-HIV activity, reducing by half the likelihood of risk for a woman contracted HIV from an infected partner . The protection was greatest for those who used it correctly.

A similar effect was observed in the study of Truvada in men gays.El drug reduced the chances of infection from 44% to 73% or more among men who took the pills so regular.Los Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently advised U.S. doctors about prescribing Truvada with other prevention services for gay, based on these encouraging results. The Dr. Robert M.

Grant of the Gladstone Institutes, (a private company affiliated with the University of California at San Francisco) who led the study of Truvada in the gay population, said, "we are confident that this approach is useful for them."

studies have mostly been conducted in countries with high rates of infection, because it makes it easier to know whether the measure of prevention is having some effect.

Truvada costs $ 5,000 to $ 14,000 per year in the United States, in some poor countries, where it is available in generic form is priced at $ 140 per year.

The study was sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Gilead provided the study medication.
